More eager now than 364 days ago for Jesus to come back!
So loving the times we get to sit at His feet. Praying He will continue to prepare us to meet Him face to face. Asking for endurance as we wait, wisdom as we move forward.
Thankful for the ministry of Operation World! Praying God will sustain them as they continue to research, analyze, and update us on what He is doing around the world. Asking for eyes to see, ears to hear, minds to understand, and courage to continue.
Praying for world leaders…ambivalent feelings about this, given what the eschatological books tell us! “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Praying wisdom and integrity for local, regional, national, and global leaders…for those overseeing geopolitical regions and those shaping social/cultural arenas. Praying leaders will desire to present their constituents to God as truly pure and spotless.
Looking forward to the day when all mission agencies and networks can join around the throne of God, lay down their crowns, and worship Him together.
Praying for increased unity, strength, and joy as everyone works together from so many different angles for the common finish. Asking for an outpouring of supernatural and natural resources for each person and organization involved.
Praying for pray-ers!
Encouraged by the many resources available. Asking for wisdom about what to focus on and perseverance to follow through. Standing on the promise of Galatians 6.9.
Thankful for maps and legends!
Appreciating the implication of statistics and trends…grateful to know there will be people from every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping God in the end. Asking for wisdom, boldness, and favor as we move forward in response to what we learn. Praying against fear and immobilization in the midst of challenges ahead. Trusting in the grace and mercy of God as we factor in the numbers.
Just as God sent His Son to reconcile people with Himself, thankful God has sent His Church, the Body of Christ, to be an agent of reconciliation in Zimbabwe. Praying local churches will facilitate Kingdom relationship and movement with the government, surrounding communities, each other, and the unreached.
Merry Christmas!
Praising God for making His heart and vision clearly present in His Church in Zimbabwe. Praying He will resource and empower her to meet the entire spectrum of needs there. Thankful the One who has the power and compassion to heal an entire nation is also the One who loves each individual within her boundaries. Praying those who leave the country in search of a better life will find Him and return to share Life with their friends, families, communities, and nation.
Thankful for the many solid followers of Christ in Zambia! Praying she will be one of the lead examples in how believers can work out their salvation in fear and trembling by the power of God. Praying especially for those orphaned by AIDS, that they would know the love of the Father strongly today.
Asking God to protect His followers in Yemen against illness and weariness. Praying His Spirit will empower them and encourage perseverance in the faith. Praying especially for the salvation of top leaders, women, and the upcoming generation. Praying also for fruitful ministry to Somali residents and refugees within her borders.
